Back from Arles – Les Rencontres 2009
July 18th, 2009Back stateside after a week in Arles. The event was fantastic! The town was overtaken by photographers from all over Europe and the west. Lectures and panel discussions occurred daily with artists such as Nan Goldin, Duane Michals, and Eugene Richards. The exhibitions were scattered throughout the town- all within an easy walking distance. While the days were packed with activity, the nights were equally busy- movie screenings, projections, and people, people, people!
