Teaching Darkroom @ Project Basho

Need a little refresher on your darkroom skills?  The perfect opportunity to refine and rediscover is coming up! I will be teaching two darkroom tutorials at Project Basho (the photo hot spot in Philly). The first is a B&W Film Processing session  Saturday February, 25th. And just when you are ready to refine your printing skills (yes, it gets easier) I’ll be back for a B&W Darkroom Printing session on Saturday, March 24th. Oh yeah!

Young Photographers Open Studio @ the Farnsworth Art Museum’s Julia’s Gallery

Please join us this Friday at the Farnsworth Art Museum’s Julia’s Gallery Open Studio event. Young local photographers have come so far in the past few weeks- learning about the history of photography and contemporary artists, and learning how to make amazing digital photographs. They will be sharing their ideas, their images, and the space that we have been utilizing as our digital darkroom.  We all know how busy summer can be, but these young artists showed that they have what it takes by committing their summer to making photographic images. I am so proud of each of them, and hope that you will join us in celebrating their success!
